My first Grand Seiko?

I gotta say that I have looking at getting a GMT of some kind... and think I may have just had my arm twisted. Black or this gorgeous white dial... I need to see, but I think it's stunning

I have the quartz version of this. I’m guess this is the stainless steel case? I love mine and also love my 2 spring drives. It will be accurate and have that beautiful smooth dial sweep. Hope you enjoy if you get it, I think you will.

thanks for the insight... this comes in titanium so that will be a first for me too. The black dial is gorgeous and probably sits closer to a dress watch but this dial is just beautiful

OK, this is sounding like a very good idea! I have the Winter, which Is titanium, it is one of my favorites. With a GMT, could be a perfect addition To your collection. Here’s mine:

I can't believe it took me as long as it did to discover titanium.    I've never been able to enjoy wearing a bracelet until I got my SBGA413 Spring Shunbun.   Certainly has a different look and feel from steel though, but for me it's sooo comfortable.

Dying to get a GS as well.  But like you - want to see some in person first!  It’s so hard if not located in a big enough city.
Happily off to Japan in June, so I’m squirrelling away some funds for that trip!

I plan on going into a boutique in the next few weeks but deliberating holding off until they have the above 285 in store for me to see. I know I am going to fall for a number of models so...
Likewise, I am planning to head to Japan in the Autumn so could be the time to pull the trigger on a GS

Your first - and definitely - not your last Grand Seiko :)
