I saw this the other day and my first thought was Wolfman Jack in American Graffiti (I realize this dates me). It's one of my dad's favorite movies and I remember hearing him on the radio when I was young. I know the dial isn't the same shape but if gives the vibes.
American Graffiti and Wolfman Jack, brings back wonderful memories, still recall driving to Verdun, PQ one summer with my older brother in our 70 Chevelle SS 454 to visit my sister and her family. Friday night was a scene out of American Grafitti with the locals and their “muscle cars” cruising looking for a drag race. We were young and stupid happy to oblige. My brother loved that movie thought George Lucas was a genius.
