Bit of a strange one this. "Pilot" on the dial, field watch size, but screwdown crown and 200m water resistance. And a mecha quartz movement. I like it all the same :)

I like it too! I used not to be a fan of fo-tina, but I have grown into one and, in fact, have a watch on the way with the same look. The black dial really sets it off.
Great looking vintage lume and 200m water resistant
I love meca quartz for my chronos! I'm guessing the Seiko vh31? I got the steeldive Captain Willard homage and it's a great piece of kit.
Recently, I ordered their Datejust homage cuz I'm pissed Rolex haven't called me yet haha.

Yes it's the vh31, and I too have their Captain Willard homage. Steeldive make some great quality, budget pieces.
Yep the watch appeals to me too! Steeldive get a ton pf good reviews. Was thinking about their Willard homage. Not sure what their logo is meant to be?
A Scuba diver tank with a mask in front, but when upside down, looks like an angry frog... not sure if it was a rhetorical question, but there you go haha.
And when it's not upside down, the logo looks like an angry bucktoothed Donald Duck looking up from below :)
That's a really pretty watch, tho. They make a version with sterile dial too?
I don't think so. The reason I found this is because I went looking for something else from Steeldive after I was impressed with the SD1970 Captain willard Homage.
