I love sotc posts and yours is amazing, great eye candy!😁
The only thing I cant understand is how do you not feel sad when youre wearing one watch instead of an other. There are so many great choices here that I would have a hard time picking one to wear.
How much wrist time does the alpinist get with this company? Is that grey or a blue-grey?
Ouf, so this was after a few drinks so the picture quality is more abysmal then usual. The Seiko Alpinist is the baby alp (SPB 157J1), so a very blue dial. The Seiko 5 (I believe its a one of the SRPGs, but cant recall the reference) is a blueish grey dial. the 157 does get wrist time and it actually got the most consistent wrist time during my trip to London, mostly because I forgot my Hamilton Jazzmaster GMT. When I look at my collection, and where I'd like it to go, I believe there will still be room for it (Alpinist), especially as a watch I wear while traveling.
