Got the call ☎️

Just picked this icon up yesterday. I am quite proud and grateful to own this watch. It’s history and timelessness is something I admire. It marks a move from my 30’s to my 40´s. It’s a move towards a more mature thought process and a reflection on where I want to be as a man in the next decade of my life.

One day I’ll pass this on to my son for him to remember me and make new memories with his family.

Nice looking watch! How long were you waiting?

·

Solid choice for an heirloom. Exudes class, subtlety and nuance.

·

I started to comment it looked large on your wrist and then realized that's probably your sweet son. 😀

Beautiful choice to make some memories. Congrats!

I really admire the way you’re thinking. Passing on things that played a meaningful part in your life is very touching. I particularly like this timepiece. It’s simple restrained aesthetic and attention to detail regarding finish appeal to me greatly. Hope it brings you many years of enjoyment.

Love that your son( probable inheritor) is already introducing himself to the watch. That’s exactly how it should be with those types of icons. #memories

Was gonna trade in my Tudor GMT and throw a few more thousand up to trade up into this model but I’m very torn. Look stellar though. Lume giving me goosebumps.

·

Great legacy piece for your son. Just watch out for the “dad please may I wear…”!!

Keep the Tudor. I would not trade my BB GMT for any Rolex.

Sorry, genuinely curious. Wouldnt any watch with a silicon hairspring do?

It’s not even function, it’s just symbolic of what Rolex’s intention was.

·

Congratulations. Taken care of it will last decades.

Only a few months. Received the call earlier than expected. Went Into process not expecting anything and ended upI having great conversation with the salesman at my AD. He knew I was a serious enthusiast and would enjoy the watch.
