My GMT project - Small but important progress!
Hello Crunchers!
first of all, happy new year!🥳
I want to share with you some small updates! During this Xmas holidays I had time to work on my prototype, so I designed some parts, and today I received the plastic holder ( the red pieces in the exploded view image) that secures the movement between the dial and the caseback.
Every time I am amazed at the quality and the accuracy of the 3D printing, just to tell, some details are 0,3mm thick 🤯
I also finalized the caseback design, ordered the sapphire crystal ( 25 mm diameter), and ordered some gaskets. I should receive everything at the end of January!
