Extraordinary from the 70s

I got this watch from the heritage of my Grandpa. It is a Dugena digital automatic from the 70s. Dugena was once the German subsidiary of Alpina but developed independent, the brand died in the 80s in the quartz crisis. Now, only the name exists owned by foreign investors producing department store watches.

However this watch is very special, it is a true 70s design and it still runs. The movement looks good but I bet it would need a service :). It is a FB 221 from Förster, an old German movement maker. The 37mm case is heavily scratched and the crystal has such deep scratches that not even polywatch helps. The hours are jumping while seconds and minutes are running.

For now I will keep it on my watch altar, but not wear it.

Do you own extraordinary watches from that era?
