Glycine Combat Sub

I've been looking at trying to get a Glycine with it's in house movement, for about $400. I've been looking around not a lot of places they sell for but their actual website looks a little sketchy. Just wondering if I'm just being overly cautious or is there somewhere else I could get the Combat Sub?

Have you tried checking on Ashford or Jomashop?

I've looked on those two. I always see the Combat in quartz or not my size

Glycine does NOT have in house movements. At one time ETA and now Selitta or Ronda. They might make a slight tweak and rename them but they are in no way in house.

I own a few and have been a long time fan, but they are not in house movements.

Great watches.

In my view, a Sellita movement is a big advantage over an in-house one - they're tried and tested, servicing will be cheaper and parts will be available for longer.

Ashford tends to have good deals on the Combat Sub though they're often for one day only so you have to be patient.

I found thread "Lee's pick of the day" on the site watchintyme.com lists the good Ashford deals as soon as they're available. That's how I found my Glycine Combat Moonphase and Glycine Airman when they were discounted.

Well the better way to say it a Swiss made movement. Still want to be able to purchase a Glycine. Really want to know where.

Amazon has Glycine Combat Subs, I picked up one with my Amazon points a few weeks ago.

If you don’t see the one you want, wait a few days and it may show up on there. That’s what I did. Good luck on your search, and be sure to show us what you get.

I notice Glycine prices are all a bit random, and I can never work out what a good price to pay is. Ashford and Jomashop always seem to be the lowest prices - but for me, they are negated somewhat by import taxes to the UK.
