After about 2 years of collecting watches I feel that I've reached the "perfect" collection for me. In that time I've experienced dozens of watches, including some relatively "higher end" ones like a breitling superocean, tudor bb58 and seiko mm300. I've come to the realisation that although I liked those watches, I feel a lot more comfortable wearing watches around and below the $2000 USD threshold and aren't as worried about scratching them up. My collection consists of:
Sinn 104 St Sa I MG: This is my most expensive watch and the one I wear the most. To be perfectly honest this could easily be a one watch collection and works for every situation.
Nomos Club Campus 713: I wear this at uni a lot as the name of the watch would indicate. I've got it on this great NATO strap that I feel suits it really well.
Seiko SPB143: A darling of the online watch community for a reason and another contender for a one watch collection. I've got it on a seiko rubber strap that gives it more vintage vibes over the bracelet.
Orient Kamasu: My beater watch. I've never been a fan of the look of most G-Shocks and was happy to find a automatic watch from a big Japanese manufacturer, with sapphire crystal, for about $120 USD preowned.
Swiss Military Hanowa Ace Chrono 6-4251.13.007. This watch stands out a fair bit in my collection at 44mm, but it's definitely my most special. This was a gift from my parents when we went on a family trip to Europe. Getting a swiss watch in Switzerland was really cool and I'll never let it go.
Seiko SUR315P: A great 36mm Seiko that gives off grand seiko vibes at a small budget. I've got this on a hirsch leather strap and use it as my dress watch. It could also be easily worn as a daily with 100m WR.
If you've made it to the end, thanks for looking :) Also hope some of you got the inbetweeners reference haha

Thanks and that's exactly how I plan to spend it!! Haha
That Nomos on the Nato just pops, I have the same watch but honestly that strap you have yours on makes the watch look WAY better.

Cheers mate. Yep I liked the strap it came on but felt a nato would suit it better especialy with the infamous lug/strap gap. I got this one from Sydney strap co for reference :)
Nice collection! I understand where you’re coming from with the price but not in the sense you mean, I’m worried of wearing flashy watches in case I get robbed! that’s why the watches I’ve personally bought and buy are always less flashy. The nomos looks spectacular!
I feel like getting to "the end" in watch collecting isn't a thing. At least for me. I thought it'd end once I got my grail watch. I got it a few months ago, and am already looking to buy new watches. I hope you've got the discipline to be at "the end".

Thanks! and yep I get where you're coming from as well. Luckily Melbourne still seems to be quite safe.

Yeah I completely get what you mean. I know this won't be collection forever, but I don't see my self chopping and changing it in a while. If I start making more money once I leave uni, then I might start looking back at luxury watches.
That's awesome. ... So, what are you buying next?
Wow I got almost 20 watches I'm trying my upmost not to go over I'm keeping a tight 12 the others are gift, fun wear and travel watches. But that what you got there is very cool single digits.
