James made this watch for me.
It's a one-off variant from his first 'Origin' series, which he makes by out of Argentium silver from his workshop in Lincoln. The case is hallmarked by the London Assay Office.
The vitreous enamel is a spectral blue. The case diameter is 38.5mm.

Really good looking watch.
James Lamb is a brilliant watch maker. That is a true treasure you have there! Enjoy in good health. 😊

Thanks. He's a lovely person: smart and subversive. We got to know each other quite well during the process.
Absolutely love his watches! I’ve looked at them many times with admiration. Enjoy!

Thanks. This watch more or less marked the end of full-blown watch collecting for me. Have now eased back and doing other things.
James is busy cooking up his next series, which will be something worth the wait.
That is a work of art! Just gorgeous.
Holy moly, that is one enchanting watch. Love the dial layout. 🔥

I believe so too. It was a treat working with him on it. Having it helped me sell a lot of posh watches that I felt I no longer needed.

Thanks. The case form is no-nonsense Germanic, so it’s all about the dial. His watches usually feature Arabic numerals but he agreed to use Romans at the cardinal points this time.

It works! The serious Roman numbers on the clockface contrasted to the rest of the dial gives it that... What's that French phrase, joie de vivre? Did I get that right?
