My Name is Leon☺️ I am a 25 year old student from Germany who is into watches since 3 years now. At the moment I prefer understatement pieces with minimalistic designs. I say at the moment, because I realized that your taste can change over time! I currently have „only“ 4 watches in my collection (Tissot, Seiko, Orient and Nomos) cause I try to put thoughts into it and not buy randomly. Happy to be here!

It’s hard to beat a Nomos if you like minimalism! You’re right about changing tastes. There was a time I was SO into the Nomos aesthetic I didn’t even want any other watches anymore and came very close to selling both my Speedy and Explorer II Polar To fund a Lambda.
I didn‘t go through with it though. But they are fantastic!

Welcome! I do both… I buy randomly and also with thought. I like to try out different styles and brands and see what sticks. If I don’t like it, I just sell it and share it with someone else that may like it! Then I refine my taste over time and will probably only have a few true keepers in my collection. The rest will come and go.

Very nice! I am probably just too afraid cause I don‘t want to make „mistakes“ or regret my decision later on. But I totally understand you here. Collecting watches is about trying new things out and exploring👍🏻
