I've been scouring the internet for clarification on the operation and function of the right subdial. Is it purely for am/pm purposes, or can you set it to run a 24 hour timer separately? If so, how?

am/pm. A common complaint of the mecaquartz movement. But then again, it is an inexpensive movement.
