Q: How did you get into watch collecting?
I had watches from the past, mostly Casios and a few fashion watches like Swatch and Guess Waterpro. Not until my wife gifted me a Citizen automatic dress watch that I began indulging myself into time pieces.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
Timex Ironman followed by the Swatch Skin Flattention SFB106G.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Don't just buy for looks and name brand. Fashion name brands do not necessarily mean they're reputable watch makers. Instead, they need to dig deeper into the watch making world and see for themselves who the true watch makers are.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
I'm pro Japanese on everything. From cars, to electronics, and watches, but I've known Swatch since and their Tissot division is reeling me in.
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
That will be my Seiko Presage SRPB41J1 "Blue Moon."
