My favorite morning pastime: swinging, sipping coffee, plunking squirrels with the Red Ryder, and hanging out with the doodle. Check out those crown guards...must be hump day. ๐
At least the seasonally inappropriate coffee mug is whimsical.

Those crown guards are definitely humpy. Enjoy the coffee and remind Lady that the squirrels are her job ๐ค

John, I'm beginning to think you have some security cameras hidden around my house. ๐
Nice looking Wenger Lawrence. I like the bezel and those crown guards. I am constantly having to near miss squirrels with my BB gun lest have them believe Me casa Su casa. LOL
Happy morning buddy nice clean watch ๐
What a cracking watch! ๐
Thanks, Steve!

Thank you, Ian!
Love this watch! ๐
You need a Diana LP8 pistol. (Pellet pistol.) It will END your squirrel problem, trust me. ๐ https://www.pyramydair.com/product/diana-rws-lp8?m=1840

Thank you, Christopher! That looks awesome, for some serious squirrel eradicating. ๐ Lady (my dog) and I are just harassing them at the moment. When they come near my bird feeders, or anywhere else near the house, she chases them up into the trees, and I take crack shots at them. The old BB gun is weak, but it does a good job of running them off. At least until lunch time, that is. ๐

If you want non-lethal, the Red Ryder is definitely the way to go. Where I live, squirrels are a huge problem. They recently got into my attic, by chewing through the soffet on the roof. It cost me $1500 to repair the holes, and $600 to have them trapped and removed. So if I see any more near the house, it's "no more mister nice guy," LOL. ๐คฃ
Ah the good life ๐
Enjoy your coffee and your beautiful Wenger my friend ๐

Understandable! They haven't done anything like that, other than chewing up my Christmas lights. If they start getting into the attic, then it will be "No Mercy"! Luckily, there are a lot of cats in the neighborhood, and we have an outdoor cat as well. She will often leave us gifts on our front mat: A squirrel head, a whole squirrel, a mole, unidentifiable entrails, etc. ๐ซค You really have to make sure to look down when you step out in the morning. ๐

That's them up in the trees, laughing at us, preparing for another round of raiding the bird feeders. Little bastards. ๐ Have a great one, Kostas!

I'll have to watch the second one later on. That is hilarious! Thanks for sharing.
I have an airsoft rifle dedicated to the deployment of non-lethal force against marauding back yard raccoons. It's thoroughly enjoyable because it doesn't even injure them, but they give me a look like "WHAT THE HELL, MAN?" and then go elsewhere.
Love the picture youโve painted, Lawrence - so very whimsical. I must join in next week!

The raccoons don't bother us too much. We used to have a regular chunky boy that would come around at night, but I haven't seen him in a while. We nicknamed him "Milk Dud", because we caught him stealing them from the Halloween candy we left in a bowl on the front porch. ๐ He used to come when we would call for the cat, and he would even take grapes out of my hand. The possums come around and make a mess of the cat food and water bowls every now and again, but I leave them alone as well. It's really just the squirrels I don't care for. Well, them and the feral male cats that feel the need to mark under our carport. ๐
