I live in North Africa, there are only a few stores here that have good pieces. I found a Seiko SRPF03. This will be my first Seiko. What do you guys think of the watch and is it a good representation for Seiko watches?

My experience with Seiko:
Fragile.
Stupid issues in design that makes them fail in use.
Quality control issues.
Very overpriced nowadays.
Worst of all they are often uncomfortable due to the raised back panel which creates a pressure spot and makes it less stable on the wrist.
I'd be 100x happier with a Casio or Citizen. I never had issues. Both are known to last for decades and the prices aren't a rip off.
For the example here's what I'm enjoying now. For 160 bucks you get titanium (ultra light and comfy on the skin), solar, sapphire, radio controlled, excellent sizing and ultra wide/flat back for comfort. And digital timers and alarms which are super useful. It even has a great orange LED light which isn't as harsh on the eyes as many other options.
Solid watch!! Never had any issues with mine!!
Classic samurai case!! Very manly 😂 a good weight to it too…
it is a nice watch, i held one of my friend before. it is a little big too big for me though, if you got bigger wrist than it is fine. also bracelet feels light and cheap, if you got more budget and replaced it with strapcode or miltat bracelet that would be perfect

That's really interesting. I'm thinking of getting a Seiko SRPE51, but these are some interesting points.
That's a brilliant example of a Seiko. Love it!

What model is this? And what size?
I have that Samurai...and would say to get it but I think I'm liking my new Turtle (SRPE93) more
Thank you everyone! I ended up getting the watch. It’s pretty solid. I’m satisfied so far.
