Vintage Seiko gem ๐Ÿ’Ž

I recently won a Bid on this vintage Seiko SQ from the early 80's. Love the simplicity and clean dial, and how slim it is. I also appreciate the small vintage case size of the watch. It give me vives of the vintage Prx, but I like it a bit more because if it's 18mm lugs that if I want I can easily interchange straps. Definitely a budget Gem in my collection.

They really have nice and diverse pieces. A watch for every occasion and style. I think their new Seiko 5 is failing in charm. They depend only on a bad spec SKX remake (besides the upgrade movement).

Super looking seiko ๐Ÿ‘

I'm glad you were the winner. That watch is a winner too. If you like quartz Seikos, they had a more modern line that was completely under the radar. They were sometimes called "Neo-Classic Quartz" and were basically any Seiko with the prefix SGE. In addition to great looking dials, most of them had sapphire and 100m. Check out the SGEH49P2 which looks like a bigger bolder version of a SARB033, or the SGEG97P1 which looks like a working man's Breguet. You can still find these watches for around $100.
