Two of the downsides of winter

If you only wear casual wear in winter, there can be two problems with wearing a watch. First, you can't easily see it and admire it when its hidden under the sleeve of a coat or big jacket. Second, as the watch is covered you can no longer play the game of 'He is looking at my watch and wishes he had one himself'.  We know its fantasy but it gets some us through the vicissitudes of life.

Well hence I have my sleeves always rolled up 😉

I am looking forward to long sleeves so I can choose to have my watch out of view.

I love winters! Probably because I am deprived of this season. if there is a will, there is a way, whether it’s rolling up my sleeve or whatever, I’m sure there are ways to make it work 🤣

I have tried a gilet with my shirt sleeves rolled up but my arms got too cold. The 'short roll' is a possibility but might look a bit preppy.

You could always try these lads approach to winter attire, now for those not from the UK there's this thing called football(the real game not that thing played with an egg) and there's a little town called Newcastle which is famous for even in winter the locals don't wear many clothes and the only way to keep warm is to drink one of the most evil drinks ever concocted and to get very angry at the owner of their football club. Now unfortunately these lads should be showing their watches off but they've all bought swoonmatches off ebay for seven times the retail price and don't want their mates to know(and us).

On the other hand wearing long sleeves of some sort allows you to wear two watches without looking like a strange person to the general public. Then you can decide which watch to reveal as the opportunity arises.

Winter? What is this...winter?
