Seiko 5 SBSA129 & Seiko 5 SBSA117

Recently added these 2 Seiko 5 in my collection , both imported from Japan.

Really love the details of the dial and case.

SBSA129 with the cement dial and distressed looking case and the SBSA117 with the domed Hardlex , textured dail and applied roman numerals.

I believe that together with Orient they are still one of the best value and reliable automatic watches

The concrete dial 5 Sportses are one of my favs. They’re perfect streetwear / casual watches. It’s a damn shame Seiko discontinued them :(. Not that I need more, but I think I want to pick one up at some point.

I think you can still find them on some Japanese watch sites for purchase.

Solid watches and movements for the price. #lume is magnificent too on their dress and dice 5kx.
