I think the whole Edifice range is a bit underrated sadly. I have also the EQB-1100DC-1A which i absolutely love.

It absolutely is. I have a EFV-100D and it is a great everyday wear!

It's light wieght and comfortable , you'll barely know it's there!
Can the bracelet be easily removed and different straps be used on this watch?

It can be removed and replaced with oem bracelet, but i don't think there are 3rd party bracelets for this sadly, because of the integrated design
I want this watch but I wished they keep the brushed linen textured dial they had with the OG white and black.

It's a very slim and light watch and wears very comfortably! I'm not sure how it will wear on 5.5 inch wrist, i think it's best to try it before purchasing .
