Building a Beater Collection Pt 10

After the "grown up, serious" Speedmaster homage, I decided on something fun. I wasn't sure if I'd like this little Casio at all, but hey, Prime, easy return if it looks like toy junk...

I love it. It actually looks great and feels like nothing. Great usable functions and I can write rude upside down words with it. Takes me right back to 7th grade.

The Casio CA-53W-1CR:

Look! Actual math! Might be the last time I actually use that, but you never know.

I'm seriously surprised by how much I enjoy this little gadget. It doesn't look hokey or hipsterific IMO. It's a nice looking discreet little watch, about the same footprint as my G-Shock 5610 but much thinner.

I honestly thought this might be a novelty/joke watch, but it's actually cool and useful.

And dirt cheap.

One last dud and one last homerun tomorrow, which should conclude this Beater Watch Collection series.

For now at least...(cue evil laughter)

I've used mine for legit math at work before. Its not practical tho

I'll watch,"Family Ties," just so I could see a similar version of this watch on Michael J Fox's wrist.

It looks good no matter what his character wears.

And on a side note, the watches worn on that show, all look interesting.

Anyway, enjoy the watch!
