You know the typical Watchfinder YT video, where Mr. Talking Hands goes on and on for 15 breathless minutes for the hundredth time about the Quartz Crisis, and then shows us macro shots of incredibly "affordable" $10k watches?
This is not that.
It's 2 blokes, sitting around, cracking joke after joke after joke, poking fun at everything that is absolutely ridiculous about our absolutely ridiculous hobby. It's the best dry, sarcastic humor ever.
Is there any other watch content out there (other than, of course, Max's videos) even remotely this good?

I’m really enjoying the new podcast format. The two seem to have a genuine rapport and play off each other very well. The topics and watches have been scripted/researched, humour between the two is anything but.
It’s by no means anything original but entertaining it most certainly is!

Yeah! What I love is that in the "official" videos, the dude will wax quixotically about the finishing on the Patek Philippe Nautilus. Meanwhile, in these videos, they're joking about how Patek is a one-trick pony, and how they're going to compete against Omega with their own "dark side of the moon" watch... only this one is a Pink Floyd dial.
I mean, in real life, those 2 dudes are just like us, and having a good laugh about it all!

Absolutely agree. If you can make something relatable then you’ve succeeded.
Watches on their own is verh niche but if you can mix the human element in there, then it works better.

Yeah, man, they have a whole series of videos / podcasts like that now! If you go to the Watchfinder YT channel, any video within the last 6 months that is longer than 20 minutes is just 2 watch dorks making jokes the entire time.
Personally I enjoy The Urban Gentry, Long Islan Watch, Mad Watch Collector, Youre Terrific and Showcase Watches. All very solid channels.

Watch Finder is a retailer so I don't really take them too seriously as they don't ever really slam their brands.
I know LIW is a retailer as well, but he's honest about what he has and is active on The Urban Gentry for whom let's lends watches for real reviews.

I have to admit something terribly embarrassing. Once I discovered the Watchfinder videos, I literally went through and watched every single video. EVERY. SINGLE. VIDEO.
If it were a gal's Instagram account, I think my behavior would qualify as stalking and warrant a restraining order.
