It would be so great if there would be an oyster stile water resistant (100m), 36mm moonphase, even if it was quartz. I am so head over heels with this Rolex 6062 Moophase, but the prices ain't my realm.
It looks to me like a Valjoux 7551 without the chronograph, of which there are many manufacturers that used that movement. Just go on eBay and search “valjoux 7751 watch” as an example.
I know guys, myself in that cohort who have waited decades for Rolex to re launch an iteration of that watch. It is true that you can find quite a few triple calendar moonphases available but while Rolex doesn’t mean much these days, for some vintage Rolex remains special.
Miyota 6P80 and Ronda 706.B are quartz equivalents. Triple-date moon-phase but with center seconds. Zeppelin makes 36mm models with them. Don't think any have 100m WR though. That's going to be a tough ask for a dress watch complication.

You may want to consider a vintage Movado, they made a ton of watches with this dial/complication. You may find the price more to your liking.
I have been checking out pre owned triple calendars for the last week. The vintage Movado is a possibility. How is its quality? I keep thinking of the current Movado reputation. Thanks

Those earlier Movados (1950's) were on a higher level than much of the modern stuff.

I also adore this watch as a pinnacle of achievement, back when Rolex did high horology and good looking stuff.
Baltany omitted the whole triple calendar thing and the small seconds, and both numeric indices. And no bracelet, and curved end links won't work...

Almost perfect! Always wondered about their quality though.
I bought a 1600 because its the cheapest and most simmilair watch that looks like this one 👍

Haha yeah this is a fun one. The closest thing is an omega cosmic triple calendar. I saw one on watchrecon recently for 3k usd.

My favourite rolex 👌

Thanks. Too bad the dials didn’t age better.
