1st modded watch (not by me)
3 months ago I asked weather a green AR sapphire crystal would make the watch look cheaper. Well, after got the watch modded by one of a modder in my home country, I can say it doesn’t make the watch look cheaper. To be honost I didn’t really notice the green AR if I didn’t look for it, or probably wouldn’t notice it if I’m not the one picking the sapphire crystal.
Overall impression of the watch.. I Love It! As my favorite color is green, this watch has enough green accent in the midst of blacked out look that makes me happy everytime I look at it. As I mentioned, the green AR is subtle enough you wouldn’t notice it unless you know it has green AR coating.
This watch has a special meaning for me too, because the first time I wear it is to attend my best friend’s wedding earlier this month (11 nov 23, shown in second picture, using green rubber strap I got as a gift from the groom😋).
Anyway, this watch also got me thinking, “I did pay premium for the watch to be modded, so why not learn how to mod myself?” … so I did. Upcoming post will be a post about my second and fifth modded watch (because these 2 watches are for me😁)
