I think aslong as you don’t claim it to be other watch and especially state that it is a modded watch, should not be a problem.
I myself has made some modded watch for myself and for my family members. I think modded watch makes a great gift, not talking about the price but the memory and thought that counts.

Not this one. This was my entry to modding, got someone else to do it for me, and then realize why not making one for myself. Then had couple mod projects as I posted on my profile😁
I was originally plan to put this hands on dive watch, but then thought why not break the rule a bit and have some fun😉

Are you making a 36mm watch for her? I was looking into a 28mm watch for my wife aswell, but all the dial available in aliexpress have this fake diamond that doesn’t look nice. Been looking for a nicer dial but still couldn’t find it.
🤤this will be my next build then😅 just have to source the dial to my country, not from aliexpress though because they don’t ship to my country😢. But thanks for the confirmations, really help me decide on the next build😁
