Merry Christmas to my fellow watch enthusiasts.
I wanted to share a photo of my wife’s new watch that I got her for Christmas. It’s a Tissot Le Locle 20th Anniversary. We spent some time sizing it for her wrist, setting the date/time, and trying on the additional leather strap that it comes with. Don’t mind the fingerprints, I gave the watch a polish with a microfiber after she took the photo.
This is my wife’s first “luxury” watch, and her first mechanical timepiece. She has added it proudly to her watch box and, like a true watch enthusiast, has already identified her next watch 😂
In all seriousness though, I’m excited to see how her collection develops.

Yea I think it’s a great blend of casual and also can be dressed up. I think it’s a great way to kick off her collection

My wife has a Kate Spade that was almost $300 and a Michael Kors that was $400. They’re cheap fashion watches… my wife’s cousin has a bedazzled Michelle watch for around $1500.
I tell my wife that her cousin’s watch is more expensive, but her new Tissot is actually a better watch.
Oh yes agree just how crazy will people spend on a fashion watch when you break it all down you paying for the name. And it has no value in the used market.
