Just for a bit of fun I bought some very cheap watches.

Just for fun I thought I would buy 4 digital watches from AliExpress not exceeding £20 for all of them, okay it was close £21.58 Shipped to the UK from China.

The one on the far right is really comfortable with a good ndiglo style back light. The biggest plus is that I can see what the time is without my glasses on.

The one next to it even though it's probably a little bit too bulky for me is also a nicely finished watch pretty much on par with a Casio and also has a really good indiglo style back light.

The next one along from the right to the left just to be different, this watch you can feel it's a cheap unlike the other two, but hay it works. It is comfortable on the wrist. You can clearly see the back light is a blue LED in the top left corner.

The chromed watch which I believe is trying to look like a certain 007 watch is probably the cheapest watch I've ever put my hands on.The metal strap which I could use the edges to shave with would have to be seen to believed. The LCD though is clear to read and if I change the strap to prevent me from slashing my wrists I would wear it when I was decorating, gardening or falling into a vat of acid. But saying that, how can you make a watch for under £2 which includes shipping from China.

I am amazed what you can buy with a small amount of money If you want to collect watches on a very small budget or maybe more importantly not to upset the better half.

A wise man once said "You get what you pay for"

Sometimes you get more.

Probably not this time. See how they hold up.

I wouldn't wear them in high humidity

The AE-1200 replica sounds great, who doesn't want their watch to double as a shaver 😂

I can’t even lie. I’d wear the Sport Watch. Who can pass up “water resist”?

Maybe I should keep them in a sealed Tupperware at all times.

Good to see somebody looking at the cheap side of watches-too many folk buy statement watches whilst most of the world`s population struggle to keep a roof over their heads, let alone a watch on their wrists-probably like the workers who made these watches.
