Too old, and just can't see it anymore.

Is there anybody else out there who has discovered in the last couple of years or so that its pointless for them to wear a digital watch. Because they cannot glance at it and see the time without putting reading glasses first 😠

Maybe the time has come for me to pluck-up the courage and placing them on eBay.

Sry mate. I guess at the end of the day, watches are beautiful yet practical fashion accessories.

Ah, 53 here, gave up on digital years ago.

Tend to go for divers and pilot/field 3 handers because of legibility issues.

Getting old is shite, but way better than the alternative!!

I'm not there yet, brother, but trying to see the date without a cyclops on the crystal is almost impossible.

On the plus side, I can drive without glasses now if I had to, my far vision has improved. Has yours improved too?

No more date watches for me. Can’t see 💩 anyone. Only one I have is red and it’s impossible to see.

Luckily never had a problem with distance, would be okay if my arms were half a metre longer.

I’m still able to work a digital, but the date windows on most of mine are pretty useless now at 61. Saw pics of the new Seiko 24MAS, and that date is neatly positioned, and all but invisible

Ah. My condolences.

May I suggest a beobachtungsuhr?

A or B type flieger. Legibility is quite good. Or a blocky dive watch.

You’re supposed to use your watch to tell time? 😛

Just sold my Speedy for exactly this reason. Without my reading glasses it wasn't decipherable. I’m focusing on big simply dials these days.
