100% agree with everything you said. the finish on the Mako 3 is amazing for the price. I paid £244 and that price got me a in-house movement, high-quality lume + build and sexy bezel action.

I haven’t heard of Smith watches before but after a quick google search they seem to focus on producing and restoring vintage watches.

Gotcha okay. Yeah, I read poor reviews on mainly the purchasing profess and customer service. Some eye catching pieces though. They are open tomorrow so I am wondering if I should see what they got, but I know the store will only be open for orders for a few mins.

I agree with you, I did see some nice vintage timepiece but they are a bit pricey for me. That’s a shame about the customer service and purchasing process maybe you will get lucky.

When it comes to purchasing watches from a brand I haven’t brought from or heard of, I always do research whether that is watching reviews about a specific piece or reading up about a brand’s history.

Same I try to research as much as I can. My wife is British so I do have a soft spot for British brands.

Rotary from what I heard is a decent British brand and reasonably priced depending on what you are looking for. I don’t have any of their watches so I can’t speak about their build quality.

Thanks, I wanted a unique colour combination and I feel like this watch definitely delivers that. The orange tip on the second’s hand is my favourite detail.
