Holiday Watches
For a trip out to the country where there’ll be a lot of swimming taking watches that all have a 20mm lug width to reduce the amount of straps needed and screw down crowns so swimming is possible with all of them. All coming down in the great travel case my new Zelos came in and my Echo Neutra pouch.
On the trip we have:
Ollech & Wajs P101
Circula Aquasport GMT
Tusenö Windseeker
Farer Leven II Titanium
And will be wearing my Echo/Neutra Averau 39 Big Moon

This is off-topic, but I like your travel case. Where did you get it? It looks beefy but still a convenient size and shape for packing.

I don’t think it’s off topic. It came with my Zelos. I think all Zelos watches come with one. Not sure if you can buy them separately.

What's your experiece with Echo/Neutra? I found out about them yesterday and I really like the look of your piece and the vintage diver style watch they make as well. They seem well priced.

I love it. And it was very reasonably priced for a good automatic moonphase, and I agree the divers look great to.

Thanks for the info. I don’t think I will ever own a Zelos. I hem and haw about new watch purchases too long to get anything that sells out quickly. 😆

Thanks I’m a big believer in microbrands and these are some of my favourites.
And I thought I was extreme. Changing straps while on vacation? Sounds too much like work to me but to each their own.

I can take a minute to change out a strap. A couple of the bracelets and all of the straps have quick release as well.

I just got back from my own vacation where I took Formex Reef with bracelet + rubber deployant strap, Formex Essence 39 with bracelet + rubber deployant strap, and Zelos Aurora with bracelet + nylon 2-piece strap. Every strap or bracelet is quick-release and has on-the-fly micro adjust (except for the nylon strap, but that one I could just change holes).
It was perfect for the tropical weather, and no hassle thanks to all the quick-releases.

Do you mean the Ollech & Wajs? It’s a P-101 from them. It’s a great watch.
