Sort of Secret Seiko Shopping
In return for clearing an old storage unit and treating my wife to lunch, I got to browse some Seikos. They look and wear great. @nightfury95 - the King Seiko is better than I imagined. I asked the sales rep about the lume on the hands. He asked me “what’s lume?” Nice kid though.
I also tried on the GS White Birch (not pictured). Good God! What a beautiful watch.

The King Seiko in person gives you a very different perspective and you get why it is quite expensive. The movement is debatable but for the price, the quality and finishing is impressive. I have seen a few salesrep look blank when I ask a question about the watch and this extends in luxury brands ADs too.
I'm planning on picking up the Navigator sometime soon when I'm back home. Seiko did a solid job in staying very true to the re-issue.

I got a maximum of 15% off on a few colour variants and I was very close to getting the 37mm red dial variant but the release of more models and the SJE models with the 6L movements on the bracelet made me hold back. Those are $3800 but the finishing is GS level and the high beat movement is also a big step up. Just hoping to see more more colored dials, especially a red one.

At least there was an actual store with actual watches and actual people working there. Where I live is becoming a watch desert.
