Changing Name to LúmëgaudAnar
After a few years of seriously collecting watches, I find myself coming full circle to my original fascination with watches; solar movements. I still like digital watches, but my true passion for solar powered watches has re-emerged, and I find myself much less interested in mechanical or automatic movements. Having come full circle back around to solar powered watches, I have also decided to change my name from DigitalDivider to LúmëgaudAnar, which means time machine of the sun in Quenya (lúmë-time, gaud-machine, device or contrivance, and Anar-Sun). This also incorporates my love of Tolkien into my watch collecting. 😊

Love me some Tolkien. Read them every year or so. Grew up with my mom reading me the hobbit every night. Have some ink that is Tolkien related, including Aragon as strider on my back!

Everyone to their own. I absolutely despise digital watches, especially those with resin cases. I don't mind quartz watches, but struggle to bond with them. I love mechanical movements because I can't take the timekeeping for granted. It's a slightly different hobby for all of us.
