Case Full of Casio Love!

Here is my collection of Casio watches. The next Casio I want to add to my collection is an Oceanus. I have it on my list for 2022, which I will be sharing soon. So, how many Casio watches to you have?

Just curious, which watch in the Oceanus line are you looking for?

I would really like the OCW-T150-2AJF

I love the ice blue dial on this one, but I would be happy with any of the three-hand models. I don't really want a chronograph. I am also on the look out for a good deal on a solar three-hand Edifice, but it is not on my list for this year like the Oceanus.

I personally liked the deep blue of the T200, but I guess that's a matter of preference. 😉 From the design of the crown to the sharp edges on the case, I like that these Oceanus watches are somewhat constrained in their design, but stand out nevertheless.

Yes, they seem to me to be similar to a Seiko Prospex in their level of execution and refinement. Casio has been releasing some great watches lately. Have you seen the new solar diver and solar field watch Casio released not too long ago?

Be still my beating heart!!

Also an oceanus  would be amazing to have on wrist!

Ob and to answer your question, not nearly enough!

Yes, the Oceanus is probably going to be at the top of my list for 2022. Still working on the list, but I know this is one that won't fall off or get replaced. This is the year I get an Oceanus.

I feel the same! Casio watches are the crack of watch collecting. I can always afford a Casio. 😂

Man, I can't  wait to hear your take on it! The dedication to getting one is inspiring!

I have a list that continues to grow and grow and so many are Casio! It's  borderline unhealthy hahaha

Great Casio collection. I own a couple of squares and agree that the Oceanus (blue T200 for me) is a great goal to get for 2022 :)

·

I aspire to that amount of casios

Great collection! Which model is the one that is second from the right at the bottom row?

That one is my Casio al190w battery-less solar watch. The solar cell charges a capacitor which powers the movement, so it is different from current eco-drives aand other solar watches.

Very interesting. How about its power reserve?

·

Fantastic collection, really nice pieces in there. I've said it before but the PacMan is an epic little number 👌

Fully charged the capacitor will last about two weeks.

Yes, I picked this one up years ago for about $30, and it has worked well. This watch actually pre-dates my "officially" starting to collect watches, and I only had two or three watches at that time. You know, that time in my life before it became an addiction and I had more watches than socks. 🤣

The funny thing about it is that it has become somewhat collectible and has actually gone up in price since it is not in production any more.

What a  great collection!!

Like your collection. Don’t forget the Duro (Mdv-106)  - they’re a great buy

I had considered adding a Duro this year as one of my budget purchases, but I am not sure now. Casio has released a new solar diver, the MTPS110, although the differences between it and the Duro are similar to the differences between the SKX and the 5KX in that the water resistance is reduced from 200m to 100m and it is more expensive.

What can you say about the black analog casio with "solar powered" on the dial? Is it exceptional compared to other Casio watches?

Actually, it is a simple solar watch I picked up for around $25-$30 a few years ago. I think you can still find them if you search for Casio solar dress watches.

Hey what is that gold Casio? It looks to have some sweet dimensions :-)

There are two gold watches in the case, the Casio A100 Pac Man my wife got me for last Christmas and the Casio MTP-VS01GL-1B, which is a 38mm solar dress watch I picked up for about $30 three or four years ago.
