Parmigiani Fleurier Is Being Put On The Market: I Summon The Council!

Robb's Report had an interesting little article that the foundation that owns Parmigiani Fleurier is looking to offload the Maison and potential the component suppliers the foundation owns.

Now I wouldn't dare suggest that @Max establish a Cayman Islands vehicle, WC Limited, to serve as an acquisition entity.

I especially wouldn't dare suggest that those WCers involved in the financial and legal professions to represent said entity to inquire on the potential price for an acquisition of Parmigiani Fleurier and the component suppliers and execute said transaction.

I would be mad, absolutely out of my mind bonkers, to suggest that once an acquisition price is found that every WCer contribute what they can, to fund said acquisition and we all become shareholders of the one of the true great independent maisons of Haute Horlogerie.

But then again...why the hell not?

Plenty of lawyers here on WC...

It's unfortunate, being that they finally started churning out some good looking watches. Sad to see this wave being so short lived.

My daughter’s Cockapoo, Marvie who is a member of Watch Crunch and one of my followers is keen as long as the financial obligations do not impact negatively his supply of organic kibble and trips to his favourite groomer every few months.

This opinion is perfectly understandable coming from a Bvlgari man. I just hope that the last sentence doesn't come true, even if I will never be able to afford one. Maybe the new owners are like Invicta to Glycine...

their 90s and early 2000s watches are some of the most collectable in the market - regularly compete with dubuis and roth.
