40 or 41mm no date Sub?

I currently own the amazing 40mm no date Sub 114060. I dropped in to WOS today to say hi as I put my name down for the 41mm no date 124060 about a year ago. They had one on display and on 1st inspection I couldn't notice any visual discernable difference to my 40mm (I didn't try it on). I know it's a newer movement etc. The rep then asked me why I wanted a 41mm when I already own a 40? I couldn't really answer her - which made me think - why? Anyway, should I ever get the call I can try on the 41mm and decide then - they'll take my 40mm as px should I decide to go for it. Views? Cheers ears...

I think the differences are miniscule, not really worth "upgrading". I watched countless videos and scrolled forums, it is quite literally a millimeter of difference and a change in taper. HOWEVER, since you have your name down it would be best to answer the call (should it come) and maintain standing with your AD lol.

41 date for me please🤣🤣🤣

Perhaps they are asking thinking you are looking to flip it…

I have the 40mm date sub ,it's a fantastic watch only thing missing is the bracelet extension which the new sub has

I have the 114060 and even though I prefer the lugs on the newer 124060, I don't see enough difference to bother changing. If I was buying one for the first time, I'd prefer to get the 124060.

40 all day long. Smaller watches are in vogue at the moment.

Check the video of Hafiz Mehmood in YouTube and you’ll realize they are basicallly the same. https://youtu.be/jUyB2iCofOc?si=BUdWz60waS0306yg

41mm Sub is 🔥🔥🔥

It actually wears smaller than the 40mm, due to the thinner lugs and slightly minimal changes. If it's one thing Rolex do well, it's the incremental and often minimal changes to improve the previous models.

I will always take the no date option on a dive watch if it is available.

I’m with you all the way. Heck, any watch.

What is px? If you are trading it in to upgrade, then if you like the way the 41 wears better then go for it. If you are going to own both imo it's not worth it
