Interstate Travel - 1 Timepiece

Facts:

(1) 3 nights/4 days;

(2) no time difference;

(3) weather is expected to change ranging from (i) mild to cool temperature, (ii) partly-cloudy to scattered thunderstorm [so combination of short sleeve to long sleeve]; and

(4) not necessarily a formal occasion but at the same time not completely casual/fun

Only permitting one timepiece, what would you choose?! If you would kindly also, if you can be bothered, provide your reasoning! 🍻

I would go with the Tudor purely because I think it is a more interesting watch to look at. That being said both are nice and versatile watches.

Explorer II. Easily for me. I don't care for most Tudors and the white dial Explorer II happens to be my most worn watch. I'm totally biased.

They’re both Chunky Monkeys. Do you have anything a little more svelte for traveling?

Yeah, I think you may be right in that Explorer II is cleaner imho but Tudor is more interesting to look at!

Yeah, it really has been difficult for me taking off my Explorer II for other watches ever since it entered my collection 🤪

Yeah, I usually take my DJ36 when interstate travelling but those times were due to the fact that it was purely work... not so this time 😅

Tudor because I’d at least have the pushers to fidget with.

I don't appreciate the GMT as much as many of you. I would just wear a time or time and date watch and figure it out in my head if I needed to contact home. Or google it.

Explorer II all day.
