HELP NEEDED! Small wrist and straps advice.

So I have a smaller wrist. I think 6.5in or smaller. I need advice on how to go about buying straps. I always tend to have extra strap wrapping around the front. I've bought some "short" option straps but I also don't like the short taper on wider lug width bands. I know I'm probably best suited to buy non-tapered short bands, but I'm wondering if there's some tactic I'm missing here. I'm sure I'm not alone, so I call upon my small-wristed brethren to help a brotha out. Thanks guys!

I have the same wrist size and I only buy short straps (180mm max), NATOs or cut-to-size rubber bands.

Sadly the options are very limited for short straps. 90% of conventional websites only sell standard 195-200mm straps and that's a no go.

In the past I bought from StrapsCo. It's okay-ish quality for "genuine" leather but I would much rather be able to buy real Chromexcel straps on Aliexpress for $20, if only I could wear 195mm without overhang... Colareb makes a few short straps too, but barely any models and choices.

For rubber, Barton has one short model but it's $30 before shipping for something made in China you can buy directly on Aliexpress for $5 in standard size so, again, it hurts to pay such a premium for dropshipping.

All in all, I haven't found a satisfying solution myself and I'm still browsing around. The only real solution for good, short leather straps without paying more than the watch itself on Delugs ($200 for rubber 😂) might be to have them custom made for $50-$80.

I have a 6.25-ish wrist. I say -ish since I'll sometimes wear a watch over cuffs, sleeves etc. But I digress.....

As @DeepCmonkey said, Amazon sells rubber strap keepers in whatever lug/strap width you need to help secure tails. In fact I use them to help keep Velcro single pass straps secure.

The other option is to get some fabric shears, sharp scissors, a heat gun, clamps, etc and start cutting down your own stuff.

The Barton short options are nice, and since I live in the US, to me it's not a hassle to order from them. Especially since I'll pay the premium for a tropic strap that I DONT have to modify.

Shout out to @DeepCmonkey @beanna @solidyetti for your advice. I didn't even think of the obvious option in just cutting it down. This is why I love this app. Big respect 👏.

In Leather Hirsh makes shorter bands. They call it medium. 110m/70mm. Here is one example. https://www.hirschstraps.com/collections/duke/products/hirsch-duke-alligator-embossed-leather-watch-strap-black
