Anything above $500 for a fashion accessory that vaguely tells the time is for sure a luxury. Even $500 would probably sound ludicrous to the average non-watch nerd.
I don't know if there needs to be tiers within the luxury category. Even if "casual" sounds less derogatory than "entry level", at the end of the day it will always offend someone or be used in a dismissive way. 😔
The flat brushed top and polished chamfer hands of Grand Seiko and vintage King Seiko are my all time favorites for dress watches. Especially under a macro lens, the level of finishing is simply stunning. 😍
Stunning watch. Crazy what you can get for so little money. And beautiful strap pairing, love the matching colors. 👏
I'll most likely buy one as soon as they offer a version without this logo. 😂
Believe it or not, some people feel better about owning the "cubic zirconia ring" because it can be enjoyed without the constant worry of damaging or losing a large sum of money attached to your finger, or your wrist.
It's not just a matter of being able to afford something. Some people simply aren't comfortable with the risk associated with wearing thousands of dollars so easily dinged or broken.
Isn't it all that matters in the end, enjoying this hobby without worry?
