Tell your wife you love her and tell her every day here after. Congratulations.

From experience, it's a slippery slope. Next thing you know you'll be in the swimming pool then learning to scuba dive and taking shots of your watch at 30m.

I would suspect that prices in Venice would be tourist prices. Try and contact some shops before hand and ask about tax free shopping. You don't want to waste time while your there enjoy the visit not the shopping.

Try not to think of it in terms of it being appropriate or liked. Make it a personal choice of your own it will mean all the more to her.

FO has context its not the same as FU. These are different things. This context can vary depending on social, cultural and geographical perspectives. Certainly in London and all through my life and particularly during the the early nineties FO when used to describe an object or situation as outstanding or unbelievable. If I showed my mate my new TAG 2000 PRO automatic he might say

"Thats a FO watch" or even just "FO!" or if we were talking about a particular goal in a football match you could say it was a FO goal. The use of the profanity isn't to cause offence like the use of FU but to emphasise the quality being of a higher order. Similar to dogs bollocks. But if your not familiar with this context its easy to misunderstand. By contrast I worked in Dublin Ireland for a number of years and was surprised at the level of profanity used by school girls at the bust stop when talking to each other. (and me a south London council estate lad) My cousin who I was staying with said thats normal they will for the most part cut it out when they get older but once they get together and have a drink they will slip right back into it. But its not intended to cause offence its used a bit like punctuation.

So a FO watch is not the same as a FU watch.
