I’ve always kept at least one Swatch in my collection. Ive had several and find they are great worry free watches. I purchased this one in NYC several years ago. I was drawn to the simple automatic movement. Friends laugh when they see me with it but I always get drawn in to a Swatch store when I see one.

I must’ve had half a dozen Swatches when I was a kid. I’d love to have another one if only for the nostalgia.

Yea I grew up in the 80’s and Swatch was the thing to have. I really love their story and how they have grown.

Yep, same. I also grew up in the 80s, and when I was 14 there was nothing cooler than rocking out to Living Colour while wearing three Swatches. 🤘
Well . . . you’ve inspired me.

Wow! Nice job capturing the color of the dial. People can’t appreciate the beauty of that watch without seeing it in person.
The movement is also really cool!

That single center screw holding the entire movement together is pretty impressive. These watches remind me of the old Seiko 5‘s.
A long while back I wore a Swatch for an entire year. It did introduce me to watch collecting, and so I keep an eye on 'em even though these days I only own one - the diver model they came out with about six or seven years ago.
I really like Swatches. I have 3 to date. One Automatic and 2 Quartz.
