Hesitating to pull the trigger - Grand Seiko -SLGA021

Hi crunchers,

Hear me out, I have been eyeing on the Grand Seiko SLGA 021 for a while (never own a GS before). Done all my research and all, tried the watch twice in different stores, I am quite set on getting the watch.

But for some reason I am hestitating to pull the trigger. Have you experienced this before?

Many times when I put a large amount on the credit card

Every time I purchase a watch and think about how in going to tell my wife.

Hmm maybe you can try out other GS dials or models on your wrist when you’re at the outlet. Something similar has happened to me before when I wanted to purchase a Tissot prx, I was quite set on getting it until I tried it in the outlet and realised it js isn’t for me… something about the dimensions maybe? Can’t rly tell… But when I tried on the Tissot gentleman, I knew that that was the correct one for me.

I know that Tissot and GS are worlds apart, so this anecdote may not be entirely appropriate, but maybe the texture of the dials on other GS watches that you did not consider previously may suit you better?

Maybe SBGA445, SBGA465, SBGA211?

Porbably. The only watch that i will pull the trigger without hesitation is a Rolex Batgirl (retail price). But i doubt i will get offered without any spending history.

If you are hesitant, then hold off. For whatever reason it may be, you should feel comfortable about a purchase like this. If you don't maybe this isn't the right time, or maybe it's not really the right watch for you at this time. Good luck.

I got offered 15% discount, that's why maybe i am fear of missing out and got rush to make a decision? I dont know.

SBGA211 (Snowflake) is an awesome choice if you want to stick with a Spring Drive.

I was the exact same with GS. I went to buy the SBGY007 and walked away. I also really like the Night Birch but I know I will hate the bracelet so much that I decided that I will not buy one until they introduce a micro adjustment
