Which one would you pick? SBGE257 or SLGH005

I need help, I have been thinking to get my first Grand Seiko for a while. But i am not sure whether should get a sport GMT or an evolution 9 version (or perhaps even a heritage?).

Which one would you pick? If you can let me know the reason at the comment below, that will be great.

I’m seemingly out of step with every other watch collector on the planet, but I am not at all a fan of the heavily textured dials that are quite popular at the moment. For that reason, I voted for A.

I like the 257 better, but it is thicc, so not an everyday watch for me, so the 005 gets the vote. True GMTs are also a total PITA to set the date if you do not wear them often.

I think the white birch is more versatile, I think it would get more wrist time. I love green watches and I have a couple but they sometimes clash with my gear 😎 I would also add that I’m holding out on Grand Seiko in protest until they introduce an on the fly adjustable clasp, until then they will stay in the window
