Seiko SSK015

Just bought the Seiko SSK015. Have not received it yet, but I am a bit surprised that no one is talking about it pretty much anywhere. Is my taste that off?

I don't think your taste is off, more that they make a gazillion types and variations. Looks great 👍 btw, enjoy wearing it

Looks really sharp, and just didn't know it was a thing.

I found it recently. I did not have a GMT and getting a $150 discount made me take the jump.

Not even close brother this is in my short list to buy soon

It’s a beauty but I think most people hopped on the budget GMT train got an earlier SSK version or a microbrand.

·

That is a beautiful watch my friend. Good design, well executed.

·

Not at all. I was looking at this when I bought my GMT recently. It's a really nice looking watch, hope you enjoy it.

I bought this watch last month and love it. You will not be disappointed. And I have been pleasantly surprised by the leather NATO - one of the few straps Seiko has done right.

Glad to know that. I was actually concerned about the strap. What is the material on the hands. Pictures make it look "glassy-like".

This one looks great. I would say a very nice pick up! I am not sure where GMT watches fall on the average collectors scale but if I was to guess one maybe two is enough for most. The other thing is within the last little while that less expensive GMT movement came out and has caused a huge selection at reasonable prices. Anyways that's my take on it. I think your taste bud is fine. 🙂

Thank you. I did not have a GMT and the price was good since Macy's had a $150 off deal. I have been lusting after the Christopher Ward C63 GMT, but that would have been at least twice as expensive. I think I will enjoy this one. I wear a trusty Seiko 5 everyday and I am happy to add another Seiko to my collection.

They are not flame blued - but nicely painted.

Its not a cheap watch (that's relative though and I speak for myself) but I would not expect blues hands at the price anyway. Thank you

Wrist shot when you get it!

·

Mines on order from Macys $498 out the door!

·

Nice. I love mine. Wore it today.
