So my cousin decided he wants to rent a boat and do a "Miami Vice" themed party for his birthday, which got me thinking....
What are some watches you guys associate with the Miami Vice style?
I tend to think of gold and two-tone sport pieces, like the 16013 Datejust or tool watches that have no business being in precious metals made for show more than work.
I'm curious to see what you guys come up with! I'm thinking of getting a cheap vintage piece or an affordable homage to wear with my pastel suit and loafers 😎

I'd go with something gold and Casio for that vintage look at an affordable price.

When I think high 80s, I think of Gordon Gekko's solid gold santos. I imagine aliexpress would have something that worked but it probably would take two months to get to you and probably look a little too modern. Charles Hubert does a serviceable homage of the period correct two tone santos and the day date.

All things considered, I'd got with @chronotriggered 's ideas instead of mine. I don't mind homages, but you won't spent too much more on an interesting vintage of some sort and it won't matter as much if it doesn't work quite perfectly.

You're right, I was looking at a Parnis Datejust homage but it looked too modern that Santos looks right on the money, though!
