Uncle Seiko on a Tudor GMT

Hello all :)

I just installed the bracelet, and am pretty happy with it. Here are some photos from the experience...

Tools... one of these is a must, and if you have a pin extraction tool, that would be helpful (I just used something I had lying around)

Once I had them off, and the new one sized, I took some photos of them next to each other. Yes, the clasp is off, but I like it offset like that because I don't see it when it's on my wrist and my arm is in the normal resting position (or on the keyboard)

It's important to make sure you have the pins in. I used the macro camera on my phone to inspect, and noticed one was not in. Here is what it looks like not in, and then in...

I am super happy with it so far. The only negative is the clasp is a bit harder to open than I would like, but I guess that's better than the alternative :). It's not that hard at all, and you only do it once a day!

This is what I mean by not wanting to see the clasp, and why I shift to to one side…

I'm straight up an oyster bracelet guy...but that look pretty good. Now you have 2 watches🤙🏽

how about the finishing? is the edge too sharp? how the brushed steel feel? once i buy a miltat bracelet from strapcode it has a nice clasp but brushed steel feel a lil bit rough and edge a bit too sharp for my taste

It feels pretty good. the edges are a lot more sharp then a Rolex of course, but the steel feels good, and the finish matches perfectly. It’s much more comfort then the stock bracelet, but that was not a very high bar. Not a fan of the BB bracelets, at least not on the 41mm watches.

thx for the info. how much you pay for the bracelet i wonder?

Uncle Seiko makes a solid product.  Looks great on the BB.  @Unholy They are $129.

Yes, the clasp is very hard to open. I thought it was only me. I am waiting for a link to connect to a new extension clasp. I also put an Uncle Seiko half link on the stock Tudor bracelet and it fits on the wrist with no issues.

I tried to love the OEM bracelet on my BB GMT and, although it's not as bad on me as I've seen others say, it is a bit uncomfortable. I have a Tudor North Flag and the bracelet is amazingly comfortable, which makes the GMT bracelet that much more annoying. 🤯 Anyway, not sure if I want to throw another $129 at the GMT, but I always wondered about the fit. Thanks for sharing!

Try an inexpensive nato, if you don't want to spend the money, and see if that works for you. :)

Dude, if I had a nickel for every cheap nato I already had, I'd have enough to buy many more natos! ;-)

You just convinced me to try the Forsnter BBGMT jubilee.  I liked that the clasp has more micro adjust and twin trigger release.  But really wish it had an option for all brushed, like the Uncle Seiko.
