Always wanted a green sub, but would always get sidetracked into other models. Was actually looking for a BLNR but then got sidetracked onto a 116610LV (hulk) before finally deciding to pull the trigger on the older aluminium one. Over here the new ceramic 12 series (Starbucks/ ceramic kermits) were only a marginal difference in price but I felt was the smarter move to go for the discontinued one and didn’t really feel the same magic when I tried it on at the same shop. still debating adding a hulk but the first gen super cases subs always looked kinda off on me.
Applogies for the crappy photos but the second photo is my attempt to show the difference between the solid end links (kermit) and older hollow (no date) end links. angle is bad but you can see the difference between the hour markers on the Kermit (first maxi style adopted from the yachtmaster on a sub) and the older ones
Third is a comparison between the newer bracelets (116710LN) with the solid Center links (kermit had hollow Center but solid end)

the new one is stunning in person TBF but I just couldn’t justify 33% above retail on a current production model. The Kermit I could mental gymnastics my way into saying “it’s discontinued so theres a limited amount yada yada” 🤣
