This is a fairly recent pickup for me. It took me awhile to find out how to get them in the United States. Though I liked this model as soon as I saw it, it continues to gain my love.๐ I know their are lots of other Sinns out there. Let's see them and tell us what your experience is.

That's tight! โก What is the company that sells those please? โญโญโญโญโญ
Itโs called Rubber B. Make sure to select the non-ceramic bezel submariner strap. Itโs expensive in my opinion ($280), but weโre good at justifying this hobby. Great rubber quality. No break in period.

Could you elaborate on buying Sinn in the US? I was just starting to get interested in the 556 and didnโt realize that locating one might be a challenge? Cheers, Steve

There may be some other ways but the only place I found was Watchbuys. They were actually really great to work with and had awesome customer service.
That U50 has a great look! โญโญโญโญโญ

The only authorized US dealer is Watchbuys.com. They are great to deal with, but unless you live near them you have to buy unseen. They are great watches. Some models sell quickly so you have to put in to be notified when they are in. Good luck mate. People love their Sinns and so do I. Iโve got two, both bought from Watchbuys.
Interestingโฆ. Whatโs the jubilee on this ?
No complaints about watchbuys from me. Smooth transaction.
856 and 104.
Love that 856 UTC! And also the U50! ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ๐
Nice Joe! Definitely a sin there! ๐ It might not officially count but deserves at least an honorable mention. ๐
Thanks. They say it can inspire you to avoid or embrace the the sins - depending on your mood.
But seriously I do need to add a Sinn to my collection one day. I've had my eye on a few, including the Sinn 103 Ti Ar.

Thank you sir. They are both great and highly recommended ๐
My only beef is the divers extension. Adds an extra point of failure.

Since I got my bracelet from Uncle Straps I didn't even know that was a thing.

The Sinn H-link has a divers extension. If you snag rear of the clasp on anything hard enough, it pulls up and releases the extension, which allows the clasp to sneak out of the fold-over lock which creates a 'hula-hoop on a hot dog' dynamic. I have had to react quick a couple times over the years. It is not a divers watch, so the extension is random. I have heard some dudes defend it as it allows them to wear it on the outside of their jacket cuff when they are outside in the frigid wilderness doing manly things. I don't have that swagger. Give me the three extra micro adjusts and a stable bracelet.
Uncle strap's lawyers thank you for calling him uncle straps. Flew too close to the sun with the Salmon dial fiasco.
Looks awesome๐๐ผ๐๐ผ My bracelet is a bit of a chore to take on and off at times but well worth it. Check out the Sinn โDouble Textileโ strapsโฆgives it a totally different look.
No matter what new watch I buy this things stays up there at the top.
What has got you hung up?
Iโve recently decided I wanted a gada field watch with date, the dimensions of the 556 are perfect and the submarine grade metal sounds like it will hold up to my needs and not scratch as much or as quickly as other watches would, not sure if 904 or 316 but the way the case if formed apparently makes for a very hard surface (correct me if Iโm wrong), the H link bracelet I simply canโt get out of my mind itโs so freaking handsome, but the movement can be had in other cheaper watches and Iโm not sure if Iโd rather spend the same or less money on something with stronger lume, I need it to be legible all night (please again let me know if it does stay legible throughout the night) I love the form follows function German design approach, I donโt mind the long crown if anything I think Iโll start to love that quirck over time but here in Montreal it would be about 2600$ CAD tax in and thereโs so much competition looking at it from that perspective. The Lume is really going to be the deciding factor for the 556 A, Iโve seen some with blue some with green Lume (yours) am I right ? And if there are two different shades how can I know which I would getโฆ sorry for boring you with it but thank you for reading this and for you feedback ! Keep crunchinโ !

I rarely pay any attention to lume on a watch. I did watch some videos about the watch but they didn't answer your lume questions. Probably shoot the company Sinn to get these answers.

I removed the divers extension on my Sinn as it made no sense and gave me a better fit. Thinking of also getting the steel reef extension or waiting for the micro adjust clasp from Sinn.
Didn't think of that. I'll give it a shot.
I love the way this watch looks. So clean and that dash of red is so ๐ฅ
