How Much Time?

Not including when you are asleep dreaming about watches, how much time do you average a day of watch related activities? This includes all of the following-1. Talking about them. 2. Looking at them. 3. Thinking of them. 4. Buying them. 5. Selecting what watch you are wearing. 6. Organizing your watches. 7. Reading about them. 8. Winding and adjusting them. 9. Making or fixing them. 10. Computer time/Internet watch time, forums, chats, and creating lists and spreadsheets. 11. And finally anything else watch related.

Ha! All activities.

I do think that I have a bit of an issue. I’m simply fascinated and delighted by watches. Specifically mechanical watches.

I have no argument with quartz watches - not at all, my years-long favourite was quartz and when it broke I was downcast.

But now the joy of having a tiny little spring-driven machine strapped to my wrist with a beautiful dial and well made case is unmatched. It’s an expensive hobby, a rather geeky hobby but I love it.
