Got It - Wait Nooooo!
I was so excited that I found this watch on eBay and the price was so great for it still being new and they are sold out from their site. Whoops I didn't look at it close at all and I thought it was the Underdog - Nope Proxima. 😱 Well lesson learned! I usually really look thoroughly and do some deliberation but yeah not this time. I'm understandingly less enthusiastic about this now but I am still ok with it and am looking forward for it to arrive. Anyone else ever had a similar experience? 😂

Some posted a question of why so much homage hate and I posted this as a reason. It's one thing to "xerox copy" a big brand(even though I'm not a fan of that). But their popularity make them feel its OK the clomage microbrands. I knew Proxima as to ripoff Serica's design but now Studio Underd0g?😡
Yes, I've pulled the trigger on an flea-bay purchase without enough consideration. I bought a vintage Timex that has one of those movements that was never meant to be serviced. Also I've bought case parts that were incompatible.
Thanks for that! Yeah it just was my intention to get the actual watch but this for sure has the look and like you say the movement is the same then I actually did ok and I'm not trying to impress anyone by it anyway.

I definitely would have gotten the original in this case. I don't like the idea of rewarding the copy watch company in this case because it is such a blatant copy of a Microbrand that isn't that expensive in the 1st place. Since it was a mistake though I am not going to fret about it. Just going to make the best of it. ✌

Richard from Studio Underd0g is in my home town of Glasgow today launching his 2nd model through their only retailer. I'm travelling to the store later this morning to say hello & to try to avoid buying another watch.

I'd imagine that having your design copied by a Chinese watch manufacturer is the equivalent of becoming a made man in the world of watches. If he doesn't see me whacked I'll be sure to pass on your find 👍
Próxima quality is no joke honestly. They have some superb watches imo

Its on AliExpress now in two colourways, watermelon and avocado. Priced at €233 and change, which is half what Studio Underd0g are asking.
