A new one for the collection - Citizen NJ0151-88L Tsuyosa

So I was in the Philippines recently wandering from boutique to boutique, annoying the wife with watch talk when I came across the Citizen NJ0151-88L Tsuyosa. It practically jumped out of the display case and into my hands (so I told the wife). That dial really caught my eye! This may be because I was previously in the Longines boutique drooling over the Aviation Big Eye either the petrol blue, grained and shaded dial (dream watch for me). But I've also had a hankering for a Tissot PRX and was gutted to find that the 40mm waffle dial that I'd be considering just feels clumsy on my 7" wrist. It certainly wears larger than I'd hoped and the 35mm version was only available in quartz. But, I'm glad I waited because on trying this Citizen on that was it... It fits like a dream, the dial is beautiful and it's very affordable. So, I bought one! 😃 And I love it! I was also pleased to find a hacking calibre inside, which many if the reviews would suggest it doesn't have. The one I tried on in the Philippines didn't have hacking, but this version came from Germany and it does.. what's that all about? The only thing I wasn't impressed with war the clasp.. but it doesn't bither me too much.
