Holidays are here - whats in your watch roll?
Schools have finished here in the UK, so it's time for a holiday. But along with all the normal stress of packing us watch fan have the added nightmare of what to take away.
We are heading out on a cruise so I need a mix of dress and sports, so will be taking the Rolex GMT, and the Cartier Santos for the day, and on the wrist a JLC Reverso for the evenings.
So here is the question whats is in your watch roll?

UK based watch enthusiast, as a kid I had Casio's, Timex and Swatch watches then though my 20's nothing. But in my late 30's rediscovered the pleasure of having a watch on my wrist.

It's a bit hypothetical since I'm committed to my Seiko 5 for now, but if I had the freedom of choice it would go with my G-shock every time. Though I think my holidays are quite different to yours 😆
I took a seiko Diver on the rubber plus a Hammy Khaki Auto on Bracelet on Holiday and they served me well. Thats a great watch Roll James make sure its in the safe. Its gonna draw a lot of attention !
We're off to the Isle of man for 12 days to see our friends over there so a variety is called for and as its the iom and a low crime rate I can take a nice selection with no worries. For the beach the seiko and orient, hopefully camping for a couple of nights so want something with decent lume,seiko again. Afternoons at the pub something fun with a bit of colour zodiac and bulova. Evenings out pan europ and longines,and lastly Geoff has a new boat and has promised me a couple of fishing sessions so why not the alsta jaws watch. All have decent water resistant ratings (except the Hamilton will have to careful with that one) so should survive the notorious fickle manx weather. Too many I know but a low crime rate and it will give me chance to flex the collection and enjoy my watches,might even bump into a fellow cruncher,be nice to have a different conversation rather than just bikes,the weather and how they can brew the most awful beer in the world (oekells).
#montblanc #cartier and #breitling is my rotation for now and foreseeable future.
I keep thinking a watch roll is in order but don't know which one. Suggestions?
